Even though at times it seems like it’s hard to sit and read the word we must be encouraged to be obedient to persist and keep reading because as we read a spiritual transaction takes place. Mark's Gospel shares the story of Jesus healing a blind man and it appears that Jesus couldn’t heal the blind man the first time – but when we know God through reading His word we get to see there is more to see in this story and we need to open our eyes to the greater plan of God.
