The scene is set and Jerusalem is full of praise for their coming King shouting Hosanna to the son of David, laying down palm leaves and their coats shouting to the King. The King is coming from the Mt of Olives entering through the Eastern Gate and as Jesus drew near Luke's Gospel tells us "Jesus wept."
